Catalytic Grants
Designed for early-stage ideas and bold initiatives that address poverty through innovative, locally led solutions. These grants accelerate impact by supporting grassroots projects focused on equity, resilience, and prosperity.
Eligibility:
- Must be a registered NGO, CBO, or an individual residing in Kenya.
- Present a clear, innovative approach to poverty reduction.
- Ensure inclusivity and community involvement.
- Provide a strong implementation plan with measurable impact.
Sustainable Impact Grants (SIG)
Provides operational support for established initiatives focused on poverty alleviation, skills development, and economic resilience. These grants strengthen community-based infrastructure and long-term sustainability.
Eligibility:
- Must be a registered NGO or CBO operating in Kenya.
- Primary mission must align with poverty alleviation.
- Must have operated for at least three years with a budget of €10,000+ per year.
- Demonstrate significant community impact and support.
Emergency Resilience Grants (ERG)
Supports rapid-response initiatives addressing climate shocks, disasters, and crises. Funds provide urgent aid, including food, shelter, medical assistance, and recovery efforts.
Eligibility:
- Must be a registered NGO, CBO, or community leader responding to an emergency.
- Demonstrate urgent humanitarian need.
- Have a track record in disaster response.
- Provide a clear resource allocation and impact plan.
